Sports Confessions is a story-first media platform for current and former athletes to speak honestly about what helped them thrive, what caused harm, why they stayed, and why they left.
For launch, interviews are limited to adults age 18 and older speaking about their own experiences.

The experience matters.
Sports are usually explained by organizations, coaches, executives, and commentators. Sports Confessions begins with the person who actually lived the experience. The goal is not outrage. The goal is understanding, accountability, and healthier environments for the people who play.

Identity and identifying details can be limited. Sensitive episodes receive an additional privacy review before publication.

Opening an old wound without offering a responsible next step can cause more harm. The Support & Reconciliation Hub creates separate, protected paths for athletes, parents, coaches, teachers, pastors, and mentors to be heard, find qualified resources, and explore peaceful repair when it is safe and genuinely voluntary.

Does submitting my story mean it will be published?
No. The submission only begins a private review. Recording and publication require a separate agreement.
Can I remain anonymous?
Yes. Several privacy levels are available. Complete anonymity cannot be guaranteed when unique facts identify the speaker, so those risks are discussed before recording.
Are positive stories welcome?
Yes. The platform needs examples of coaches, parents, teammates, and organizations that created healthy, lasting experiences.
Can I name a coach, school, team, or organization?
You may describe what you personally experienced during the private conversation. Specific public allegations require additional evidence review, privacy safeguards, and an opportunity for an identifiable organization or person to respond when appropriate.
Can minors participate?
Not during the initial launch. The first phase is limited to adults age 18 and older. A separate safeguarding process must be established before interviewing minors.
